§ About · The makerSince 2026

Built by @Kodaren1338, in Stockholm.

One developer. No VC, no team, no growth-hacking funnel. Small tools for other developers, shipped as Chrome extensions with Stripe on the side. If you're reading this, you landed here because something on the site — a price, a claim, a recommendation — deserves a person behind it.

§ Who

A solo developer shipping small things well

I go by Kodaren1338 online. I ship independent software from Stockholm — mostly browser extensions, plus the small web properties around them. I have no investors, no team, and no interest in turning these products into something they aren't.

The working model is simple: find a specific friction a developer hits regularly, ship a small tool that removes it, charge a fair price. Repeat. If you've installed a Chrome extension that did exactly one thing well, this is the thing that tries to be.

I care about privacy architecture — not as marketing, as an actual constraint. Every product I ship starts with the question: what if this never transmitted anything? Capped runs on read-only admin keys that stay in your browser. ContextBlur makes zero network requests at all. These constraints make the products smaller, which is the point.

I write articles on this site about OpenAI and Anthropic API pricing because I got tired of guessing at cost. If the numbers in those articles turn out to be wrong, I want to hear about it — email below.

§ What you can expect

Four commitments

§ I

Your data stays on your machine by default.

Free tier never transmits API keys, prompts, completions, or usage data to Capped servers. The whole architecture is designed around that constraint. If that ever stops being true, the product either changes or the terms change — you'll see it disclosed, not buried.

§ II

Prices in articles get updated quarterly.

Every article on this site has a dated “last updated” badge. When OpenAI or Anthropic change their pricing — they do, often — the numbers here follow within a quarter. Stale numbers help no one.

§ III

No VC, no acquisition target, no growth-at-all-costs.

Capped's goal is to be a small, profitable, honest tool. Not a unicorn, not a pivot, not a feature-spraying platform. If that ever has to change, it would mean I'd abandoned the premise.

§ IV

Email goes to a real person.

Support goes to my personal address. If something breaks, you hear back from me directly — not a helpdesk queue, not a chatbot, not a ticket system with an SLA that expires on a Tuesday.
